I'm going to follow jots into '84 . I year I rarely listen to , except this second set . This one has some of the best Garcia vocals , ever . That desperate edge of apocalypse .

I already cited 9/18/87 and that I experience live

I also really like 4/27/77.

My comments on music, like most things, are worthless. Dancing to architecture I can dig. Seen Gehry's masterpiece in Bilbao?

This site contains links to both (and many others):

Hey BD, I was there as well on that MSG run and you don't need to go as far as Bilbao to see a Gehry masterpiece, see the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) building in Toronto ...it does look like danceable architecture

Thanks. Hadn't seen that.

That MSG run was some good fun in the belly of the beast.

9/11/81 A powerful mid song jam, and a stunning ending jam that starts out soft and sad and builds in intensity til the end.

5/8/77 A classic that just soars throughout

5/18/72 - Dynamite piano/organ interplay between Keith and Pig (first ever pairing with Dark Star)

http://www.archive.org/details/gd1972-05-18.sbd.miller.79057.sbeok.flac16

9/11/73 - Perhaps the most underated Dew of all time, Phil shapes this performance with some mind blowing ordinance that carries over from the excellent preceeding Dark Star

10-19-73 Oklahoma City - quiet, beautiful 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desire' during Jerry's solo at the end

10-18-74 Winterland - Phil gets bombastic and Jerry sings and plays with rich emotion

4/29/71, good one to wake up to. 7/4/89, where does Jerry come up with the lungs on this one? In agreement with all that is here
